My wife tells me her 07 mountaineers fan stays on high no matter what speed she puts it in. Also the passenger side is blowing cold air. It has dual climate. What do I need to look for, could it be electrical?

Sounds like a couple issues. It is definitely electrical. The blower motor resistor tends to be the main issue when it comes to fan speed. More than likely the blower motor resistor is fried and or the wiring harness to the BMR. For the difference in temperature first make sure they are set to the same temp. Otherwise it could be the passenger blend door actuator. Would have to pull the bend door actuator and watch it when you change the temp on the dash to see if it moves.

Ok thanx. Where is the resister located and how do I test it? And is th eblend door the one located behind the glove box or is there another one somewhere else?

Search blower motor resistor, I just posted a link not too long ago in this forum and like fordgt55 mentioned make sure that the dual mode is turned off (the light over the dual button is off).
