heater problem......help

Hope someone out there can help us with a heater problem. I have a 95 explorer limited and the heater is not getting very warm and when you push the defrost button on the dash the AC comes on.

Any help would be great!! We replaced the thermastat. Is there any sensors that should be replaced ?

Welcome to this forum! The blend door is a common problem on these vehicles. It gets stuck in one position (A/C in this case), and doesn't allow heat to go through. There are many threads on how to repair this including one somebody did which is a cable driven system to bypass the OEM set up.
