Hello my name is Hruke, or Will, I recently bought a 95 explorer(to be more in depth its a 4.0 OHV with 4x4 and 2door, I believe) with plans to make it into a toy/offroader bundle of joy. I dont have any pictures curretnly but ill upload a few later.

I would like to ask a perhaps noob question, Is there any easy cheap mods? I know I saw the 2" lift with the shackles and the "TT" I think its called, the torsion bar twist. I ask because I also have a 2013 chevy sonic, that after porting the intake manfoild people are seeing ~10hp/tq gains on the dyno.

Id also like if someone could direct me to somewhere that has general knowledge in offroading as I am new to it. Id like information on common things to bring/expect the first time, mods that will help or be useful, or just some information on how to drive(for example what gear I should be in while going threw mud or up/down an incline which are the 2 things that I will try first and move on from there)

Sorry for the lenghty hello, but ill be reading the formus for awhile. Thank you all for reading and any future help.

Thanks for the help and pointing in the right direction everyone. Im very happy that doing a 2" lift is simple/cheap with the TT and shackles, that will be my first mod along with swapping the rear leaf springs due to the sag.
