Hi there!
My name is Nick. I'm 18 and a full time college student at the University of Nevada, Reno. I finally saved up enough over the last two years to sell my Olds Cutlas and buy a '91 XLT. (My parents had a '93 and we ran it hard until it died. I can't think of buying another type of truck!) Anyways, my trucks in decent shape, only needs minor interior cosmetic detailing, and I found this website and have since then inspired myself to save up for a lift and some new tires. My main concern right now is the fact that my truck does get alot of use offroad in its stock condition, and I was a little worried about that cable holding the spare tire underneath. Should I worry about that at all with the amount of bouncing the truck does offroad?
Well, I just wanted to say hello. And after reading alot of these forums ya'll look like a bunch of really nice people. Helpful; not like alot of the holier-than-thou jerks on other forums. Sorry about the long post, but I look forward to sharing my trials and tribulations of my new explorer project. . . and hopefully keep in good enough graces with my dad to keep letting me use his garage
