I've owned my Mountaineer for 7 years but just discovered Explorer forum last month and I can hardly believe what a great source of information it is. I found it when doing a web search on towing with the Monty
I found out (after all these years) what's in the factory towing package, and located my trailer wiring plug. Next, I read some tips on towing that made my first tow (800 miles over the Sierra Nevada and back) trouble-free.
When I got back and explored the forums further and re-covered my cracked center console lid using a cover found on eBay.
My CD/radio/cassette player display that went blank last year (but otherwise plays fine) turns out to be a common problem and there are ways to fix it without buying a new radio.
