Very cool to find this forum. I purchased my first Explorer back in December - a 2015 Explorer Limited. It has been so much fun to drive. Love it!
Not sure about the rest of you Explorer owners, but I chose the color I don't ever see here in Atlanta - Metallic Brown. I think it looks amazing and I like being the unique one around as I see lots and lots of Explorers. Most of them are White - which was my second choice. The rest are Black. They all look good though.
I went with the tan interior which looks great against the Brown exterior. This thing is loaded with technology and I think I've learned the basics, but there's ton more to learn. Haven't tried the 'self parking' just yet.
I'm one that loves to add things to my cars, but this SUV doesn't seem to need much and there doesn't seem to be much out there. I did not opt for the entertainment package with the rear head cover video screens. Who uses DVDs these days any how. My kids have wifi just about wherever they go on their iPads.
I do want to add some running boards. I think it will make the stance of the Explorer much more appealing. Especially with a bit of chrome trim. Any suggestions on that would be greatly appreciated!
Glad to have found this site.
