Found your site while browsing at work looking for advice. Seems like a good place to learn. I just purchased a 1994 Explorer Sport with 74K miles and love it to death. I also drive a 2005 Mitsu Lancer Evolution MR with some work.

Just wanted to start off on the right foot.

I need to replace the knuckles on both sides of the front and looked on Fordparts.com and they want close to 300.00 per side. Anyone point me in a cheaper direction??? The boneyards here in NJ have examples just as rusted as mine.

Search explorer spindle or knuckle on ebay. There are used ones on there. Not sure if you will find first gens tho.

You may find some in the parts section of this website - lots of stuff shows up there. Or post an ad for what you need and see if anyone has one.
