We recently purchased a 2004 Explorer XLT V8 4WD with 255,000km on it to replace our very tired '04 Pontiac Montana family hauler. We had to replace the driver's side rear wheel bearing right away which I had done at a local shop. The shift indicator was broken so that's been fixed as well. I've already gleaned a lot of useful info from the forum and am most grateful.
