Hi everyone. Great site. My 04 XLT only has 25000 km on it, but its paid for and ready to be customized. I hope to build an everyday driver that's gonna be a tractor in the snow.

I mostly drive in open prairie fields with deep snow drifts and boggy slews, but theres some world-class off road playgrounds in my neck of the woods too.

Thanks to everyone for the great information. I have a lot of reading to do!

Did I read that correctly? Only 25,000 km? (15,000 miles for our American friends), or 250,000 km (160,000 miles)?

You've come to the right place for great advice. Sorry, can't help you. My Ex is for street use (with the occasional gravel of backcountry roads around K-Country or Canmore).

I kid you not. I bought it brand new in '04, then went to work overseas for the next three years. I've barely had a chance to break it in.

Wow. I thought I was doing great when I bought a 6 year old '99 with only 54,000 km.

Very cool.
