Just bought the wife a 2004 Explorer Xlt, V6 with 31,400 miles on it. I'm hoping what I'm hearing about transmision problems will skip this one. My mom has a '92 explorer xlt she bought new before she retired, it finally reached 60,000 and has ran like a charm. For now I'll keep my fingers crossed and wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope you only get greasy when you want to!
