Hey guys, My name is Matt, I've been a member on other Rbv forums for years, and am wanting to continue to build my resources. I am a big fan of the helpful community that loves these little rigs like I do.
I'm an avid outdoorsman, off roader, wrench, and in general just love to get down and dirty.
I currently have my 97 Ranger, stepside, 2wd 2.3L that I use mostly as a DD but also rip around dirt roads and "rally" nearby areas. I have done quite a bit of work to the suspension and chassis getting it prepared for the abuse I put it through regularly.
Also my dedicated wheeler is an 85 BII that currently has about 4 inches of lift and 31's. The 2.8 is a real pile of crap, as most are, and the undersized axles are not getting another dime from my wallet.
I have a 93 Explorer(built December of 92) that is currently in the process of being pillaged for parts. Taking the D35, the 8.8(both 3.73, LS rear) the 4.0 and the transmission and swapping them all in, once a spot is opened up in my shop that is. I have a L/S unit for the D35 that I'll be installing. The 4.0 OHV and the A4OD both had full rebuilds less than 20k miles ago.
I love these oddball rigs and look forward to sharing about my mutant B2 and what becomes of it.
