Hello from new comer

I own a 2003 explorer XLS awd. I am having trouble with the temperature blend door actuator and am wondering if there is a way to get at it to replace it without tearing too much apart. Is it possible to get at it by removing the radio and trim around the gauge cluster and lower panel under the steering column?
