99 Mountaineer 5.0L
Hello, I just stumbled upon this forum, and I love it! I have owned a 99 Mountaineer for about a year now, it rocks!
I am an electronics specialist, so that is what most of my present and future mods have to do with. I Build Police cars in the Twin Cities, and Install car audio/security part time for Circuit City. I look forward to reading the forums, and as soon as I figure it out I will post a pic of my Mountaineer.

Welcome to the site!:D

When you build police cars, what models do you outfit? Have you done any police Explorers?

Welcome to the site.

I have done a couple of explorers. I haven't done any police cars, I am one of the custom guys that only works on making undercover BCA, Secret Service and the like.

Thats even better....What did you do to the Explorers?

thats cool as crap. Who did you do the X's for? Got any pics of the ones you did do. I pretty sure you dont. But it dont hurt to ask

hey i work in the roadshop at circuit city also. good to see another roadshop specialist on the site.

On the explorers I did wig wags front and back, Talon led flashers in the front, grill led flashers, gun locks in the back, along with pistol safe, Brake light cut, hands free kit, radio, rear Talon led flashers, Front grill speaker, Alarm/Remote start, power inverter. Pretty standard for BCA vehicles, nothing too crazy. I don't have pics, but next time I do an explorer build I will take pics for you guys.

Brake cut? So you could flip a switch and have no brake lights? Cool!

Yeah, the brake cut is to cut the brake lights, and I also forgot to mention reverse light kill, and strobes in the headlights and brake lights.

I am on a fire department dose anyone have info on how to install strobes and grill ligts in a 02 explorer
