Hello everyone. Great to find your site. I found it just by using Google and "5R55e". I have read a few threads and everyone seems very helpful and organized here. I can't wait to get to work on my first problem (my username should explain much of it...)

Anyway, I bought the truck less than a year ago used with over 130K miles on it. Needless to say, I think I have some work ahead of me. I know mostly basic stuff like how to change plugs, wires, fuel filters, clean intakes, thermostats, replace alternators, water pumps, etc. etc.

I have never done an A/C compressor, a transmission, a transfer case, fuel tank, engine rebuild, etc.

I do have a few back problems and that is probably why. At least this thing sits a bit higher than our other ride, a Bonneville SSEi.

So, anyone else here from around the Pittsburgh, PA area???

I am not from PA, however I do feel for your back.
It is a drag when our bodies fall behind our minds huh?

From around Bridgeville here. I bought a car a long time ago from N. Versailles. Leader Auto Sales. Got me through college anyway.

I see you don't post much. You must do a lot of reading on here. Lots to learn.
