the lights you see on are for the fuel reset because the door is open that one always comes on if you open the door goes off when you close it

the seatbelt is on only cause i did not have a seatbelt on

and for the air bag light thats from a previous owner accident got a new airbag in there i think and it's just stays on after the previous owners shop fixed it

as far as the main problems why is half of my dash blown out ? it' is a 98 cluster into a 95 because my old 95's odometer stopped working and i needed to replace because i needed for mpg/fuel performance...anyways here is a pic hope this helps the rpm side is always like this while i'm driving ...

Not to be obvious but are the bulbs burned out?
Also, I just read a number of horrer stories about air bags being incorrectly installed and not working. I'd sure get the airbag checked by Ford or someone who knows. That airbag light isn't on for no reason. Find the shop that fixed it if you can and lean on them to make it right. After all, it's your life!!!

cool i did find a business of the previous owner maybe i'll give that number a shot and get some info on the air bag light thx for the advice

I knew that would come in handy... :D

If you have your gauges out, look at the gauge faces. One set I had, had a Ford logo stamped on them next to the part number on the black facing. Another set I had didn't, but had the Ford part number. The non-Ford logo'd gauges did not light up as well as the logo'd ones did. I got my current gauges out of a '98 Mounty, (Ford logo'd) and these light up perfectly, the others were spotty at best. (non Ford logo'd) Maybe the clear light diffusers on the back don't like up directly behind the gauges... Hook up your wires, leave the gauges off, turn on the lights. If all of the bulbs turn on, it is the gauges...

The airbag thing is definitely problem related to the system.

Are you trying to clone Snowball? Ha ha! :D

I just bought a new grille and headlights. I may have gone diamond, I may have gotten stock... Maybe I won't tell... :D I can break this cycle. Ha ha ha!

Snowball says "I'm flattered" so I guess it's all good.

lol we do seem too have the same truck hehe...except ur's is prolly 4wd thx for the info guys oh yea but mine is about to click 200k 170'ish miles till that happens

Did you get it fixed?

Mine reads 123,000 right now, but actually about 185,000 total since the cluster swap

And yep- 4x4 up here... ControlTrac has been doing it's job nicely for a while now...

i think the bulbs are bad as suggested earlier i just do not know how many go with the cluster lights ? i'm going to change all of them they probably were bad because it came from a junker truck/junkyard/etc...color ideas? how would i get it to light up like euro example VW/Audi dash i love there red/blue combo newer kind like in the 98+ A4 and the 99+mkiv jetta/and GTI's i think lite up the same way
