help ASAP ??? on factory front door window tint!

I need to know if the front door windows on 96 explorer come from the factory with tint. even a very evry light tint. and if they do whats the percent. I have to go through inspection tomorrow and according to my laws in CT the fronts can only be 35% and thats what I had them tinted at. but I was wondering if they have a light factory tint that will at to my 35% and make me fail- I really hate DMV

check your glove box and see if you still have the window sticker, it is a option, it also comes with some of the packages..

There is a tint on your front windows, its blue and very light.

thanks- I hope I pass too... I live out in the country and never have any problems but go to college about 45 mins for my house in a big city area... I got pulled over last week for have a tinted marker cover ... and then the cop started asking about my tint. now I have to go through inspection tomorrow because of it... very stupid reason I think. I better pass with my tint- I love it!!!!!!!! I have 35% front door and 35% rear on top of factory 20% rear.

well the scr*wed me. I need to take the front tint off. The factory fronts are tinted... cause I have 35% on it and it tested as 21%... this pisses me off ..... I love the look of the tint on my truck. I dont get it.... the fronts cant be more then 35% but anything beyond the front doors and be PAINTED!!!!!!!!!...I thought the problem was cops couldnt see inside the car... had problems with people shooting or something. So whats just the front windows need to be light for and the rear jet black... I could have a tank in there for all they know. Some laws just dont make any sense to me.... like you can only have driving lights on at low beam and they need to shut off with high beam... whos the moron that came up with that. I would rather have driving lights on with high beam and off with low beam so you dont get blinded by oncoming car. stupid law makes ou there-

Sorry to hear you got shafted on the tint. PA has the same stupid laws about tint and driving lights. Some of the laws were probably written by the blind, and the others were written to fatten up the local tax base. They refused to pass me once when I had an old clunker of Lynx. It was supposed to have power steering (it was busted and leaked like a sieve) and since I took the belt off to use it like manual, they wouldn't pass it!!. Like that car really needed power steering!!
