help! bolts broke while taking cross member off.

I have a 2003 Ford explorer xlt 4.0l. I was having transmission problems. So i decided to yank the transmission out to get rebuilt. While removing the cross member under the transfer case, all 4 of the bottom bolts broke off in the hole. What can I do to get these broken bolts out of the hole to replace them?

crossmember to frame or crossmember to T-case???? i have a 98 2wdand havent had mine down yet, but getting there asi must change valve body,, but as i recall the nuts on crossmember to frame are not captive nuts, u should be able to continue yr crossmember drop

Well I got the crossmember off. And the bottom bolts that broke go in to the frame itself. And there is no way to get to the nuts, if there is any.

get the body up as high as u can get it,, wear glasses,, drill thru the center with about a number 30 drill bitmm then drill with a left handed 3/16
