I started having issues with my explorer, started about 3/4 weeks ago.
The drivers side Unlock Button stopped working.. Couple of days later followed by the lock button.
A good week later the lock button stopped working on the Passenger side as well & all my remotes / and remote starter/remote.
The Unlock still works on the passenger side & remotes (I even swapped driver side Lock/Unlock button to see if the buttons would work on the passenger side, and yes it does.) Anyways, now every time I want to lock my suv, I have to use the Cargo Lock, to lock the car.
I need help, I checked all fuses / and the relays under the hood. All seem fine. I also checked the wires, Pink/Yellow wire. I did a new wiring from the cargo area to the front Driver side lock, still nothing.
My theft indicator was blinking rapidly for about 15 seconds when I was driving before this started happening, that was a bit strange.
I think I even tried to open my drivers side door with the Key (but the key could never open the drivers side since I got this suv)
I honestly looked through atleast 20+ different forums. I downloaded the Ford explorer service manual, and still nothing.
Could it possibly be something to do with the Central Security Module?
(since my theft indicator was blinking that one time rapidly while I was driving)
