i need help. i just replaced my 4.6 v8 in my mountaineer less than 500 miles ago for supposedly having a rod knock. the engine was used with 29.000 miles on it. now the engine is making that same noise again that sounds like a rattling noise under light acceleration at the top right before it shifts. once i get up to speed in higher gears it goes away. i have heard about the timing chain issue and im hoping thats what it is. i CANT afford another engine.
