I spent 3 hours last night looking for a plan to build shackles for a 2" lift last night. I know it exists, as I have seen it before and started to fab, but I need the measurements again. If anyone has this bookmarked or knows where I can find it I would greatly appreciate it. The one I am looking for uses 3" wide plate, not 2".
thanks so much.

...your welcome and we appreciate that you put the effort into the search...;)

Remember, for every inch of shackle, you get 1/2" of lift. So for a 2" lift, you'll need to make shackles 4" longer then your stock ones.

Suggestion. If you cant weld or don't have access to a welder print the plans and take them to a school welding shop they will likely build them for the cost of materials. I teach auto mechanics and my students installed a set on my 96 EB this morning.

I got this made (for my old 2000 X) at a local engineer shop & it cost me $80 Australian. The only hassle I had with this was I also had/have a Hayman Reese tow-bar & every time I got some serious articulation or a large bump happening it would hit the tow-bar.
