HELP front diff info needed asap

I`m not happy.
I just took my front diff off to find that there is no shaft pin lock nut in place. I banged on the shaft pin a bit to see if it would come out and it seems jammed in place. I`m putting a front locker in. How do I get the pin out now?
I`m worried about hitting it too hard because I`m not sure if it only slides out one way. Boy am I p`d off. I had a local shop do my gears for me so this is something they have screwed me with, *******ous persons.

I`m gunna have a smoke and maybe punch a plastic garbage can around, then try bangin on the pin some more, I`m thinking it should come out of the lock pin side.

Well I figured it out, there is actually a roll pin in there, instead of a lock nut. Someone else told me that is normal. I had to take the carrier out and bang the pin out. My instructions didn`t say anything about a roll pin, I was about to hang that shop too, lol, I figured it would be the same as the rear.

Now if I could just find the torque specification for the bearing brackets in there.....

Not sure if this is it, but my book lists under "front axle" - carrier shear bolt-75-95 ftlbs.

Thanks, phew, what a relief, I wasn`t sure that was it, but went with it anyway, we have the same book, I`m just confused on terminology. Just waiting for the sealant to set up a bit here, then I torque the diff back to the TTB and start getting it all back together.

Boy I wouldn`t call it fun!

It`s done now though!

I haven`t tried it out or anything, but It`s not leaking yet or anything, so that`s a plus. I`m gunna write it up in my mod thread tomorrow Carson, so you can pretend you were there!
