help, Fuel filter location

Search came up with nothing. I want to change my fuel filter on my 95 explorer 4.0 but I cannot find it. even when I had the fuel tank dropped. Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located. Do you need the removal tool to replace it. I picked up one and couldn't get the lines off my fuel pump. ( it was the wrong pump any ways )

It is located on the drive side frame rail, about even with drive door, on inside of frame rail

Yes, you need the coupler tool, spray the coupler out real good( spring clip) with some wd40 or such to clean the dirt and sand out, it will help it to release

Read the posts on fuel filter repacement before replacing yours. There is an 'art' to removing the lines with the tool.
