I need to remove the Harmonic Balancer Center Bolt and I don't know which direction I should force the breaker bar. I know that rubber handle thing probably won't be strong enough but, no one seems to sell Vice-Grip Locking Chains!! Please help! Thank you

Removing Center Bolt Minimum Requirements:

- PB Blaster (spray the hell out of it;
let sit for a few minutes add more if necessary)

- Boa Constrictor (Soft Rubber Strap Wrench 6 3/8" -- 160 mm diameter)

- Deep 3/4 Socket and Breaker Bar

Turn center bolt COUNTER CLOCKWISE (1994 Ford Explorer)

I believe all trucks you turn it left? FYI, I use the impact gun :D

Also a fyi that bolt is a TTY bolt and should be replaced and not used again...and yes I have had them stretch and thread shear off them before..

Thanks, yeah I will replace the bolt with a new one. Currently, having a hell of a time pulling the blasted thing out with the kit I have - the bolts are too short! So off to the hardware store I go...

You may be able to use the bolts from the ac compressor.
