HELP! Went for a drive tonight and came home and when i got out of the car i noticed my main driving lights are blinking. Not the turn signals or tail lights, just the driving lights. They are blinking at a regular interval, seems like one second on, two off. What could be causing this and how do i fix it??

Someone please help.

Most likely a bad fog light relay in the Aux Relay Box 1(right side front of engine compartment).

ya? that would make the driving lights flash? The fog lights in the bumper dont flash or anything. I was thinking something to do with the DRL module.
If it is the fog light relay, how do i test that, is there another relay that i can switch it with? Wiper motor relay maybe?

My bad, I read driving lights and not headlights.

Does it have Autolamps too? If so, are they switched off?

yup it has the autolamps, and i made sure they were switched off.

still need help with this one :( The battery is just unhooked for now.

Did you try unplugging the DRL module? This is going to be difficult to diagnose from afar.....

Second the DRL. Also try unplugging the autolamp on the back of the mirror. I had a slide switch go bad and it would blink off-on constantly.

ok, if i unplug the DRL does that just disable it, and my headlights can be turned on and off normally?

3rd on the DRL as well, unplugged it on my 92 Ex. and my 01 ST, no issues everything works fine but no DRL, never got hassled for it.

DRL

I replaced it once, and after a year or two it started again. Now its just unplugged. End of problem

ya, unbolted the old DRL module and it looks like something inside it blew up, the whole casing has swelled up. Oh well, Dont really need it anyway.
