yes it does but i have the switch on the mirror on off and they stayed on for a few hours before i decided to disconnect battery thanks

im wondering if you shorted out some part of the control module from the puddle

how would i find it or fix it thanks

first you need t ostart tracking down hte problem.. there is no simple this is how to fix it......

any idea where the control module is i did smell some burning smell from the front of the truck thanks

hi does anyone know how hard it would be to replace the relay box in the engine compartment in the front left down on the frame it has 3-4 relays in it i gues the cover came off and water got in there and toasted the relays i havent had time to see if the whole relay box is toast but hope not thanks

The switch on the rearview mirror is for autolamps. If your vehicle is equipped with daytime running lamps, there is a small module behind the bumper below the drivers headlamp. Being in Canada (where DRL is mandatory), I have seen several modules cause the lamps to stay on. Very often, but not always, problems with the operation of the high beam indicator also results with DRL module failures.

if equiped, on the rear view mirror there is also a delay button that will cause the head lights to stay on after the car is shut off. You can control how long they stay on by a movable switch also located on the rearview mirror or just push the button to turn the headlights off when the car is turned off. If you want pictures i can put them on here

i found out wat the problem is theres a relay box on the pass. side in the frone of the engine and somehow the cocer came off and when i went thru the puddle it got all over the relays and melted 2 of them bad i hope i will be able to take them out and clean the terminals but if anyone knows were i can get a new cover for it thanks will let you guys know thanks
