Welcome Ricky!
I don't know the answer, but I did move this to the proper section for you to get an answer.

Any of the SOHC V6 engines from '97 to 2001 will go in, I recommend you reuse your existing sensors if they're all good.

Are you doing the work yourself?
If so, go to gumtree and see what's available.

If not, most wreckers have a fitting service.

Tip: Do the timing chains or at the very least the tensioners while the new engine is out and easy to get to.
Change the rear main seal too for the same reason.

A few questions: How do you know it's the timing chain?
When it "went", what did it do?

was more noise from left hand rear rocker cover than 2 skeltons rootin on a tin roof for week or so park car went to start no rattle but no start either so i assume chain prob was terminal

Left side as you look at the engine? Or left as in passenger side?

There is a chain on the driver's side rear. Take the cam cover off and have a look.

I haven't heard of the rear chain going off by itself but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

I am just assuming it was the timing chain was reall rattles then i turn car over and its not firing

so I sprayed some start ya ******* (starter spray) down the throttle body and it runs for a sec I pressed the little tire vale thingy no fuel so I guess if I can find the fuel pump I will check power and change if required inertia switch seems ok .. do I need to drop the tank

That's the best way, dropping the tank.
