Alright guys I have a 2002 ford ranger 4.0 with 4.10 gears. I have a noise coming from the passenger side it's like a rattle popping noise. It happens when turning hard right or going staright at a good speed or if i'm driving down a dirt road it sounds horrible. I've replaced both cv axles both hub assemblies and a tie rod end. my local mechanic doesn't even know what's causing it. Thanks for all help. And nice to be a part of this forum. I'm new

I assume it is 4 wheel drive? Have you checked the front drive shaft CV joint?

the cv axles? if not where is what you're talking? Thanks

If it is a 4x4? I am referring to the front drive shaft from the transfer case to the front differential.
When asking questions you must state year, model and if 2 wheel drive or 4x4.
