stick a screw driver in the hole against the bolt and hit the screw driver with ahammer...should help in pushing out that bolt.

did you get it out?

Yeah man it was a beotch. It was rusted on. The shackles were all rusted too. Didn't even bother using them as a brace. I think I will probably be getting the warrior shackles in a few weeks then do my AAL at the same time. I made sure to put some anti-sieze on the bolts when I put the new shackles on.

nice...get some pics up of them....did you use the bolts that came with the kit?

and were the holes already 9/16ths?

Yes and Yes. My AAL came too, but I didn't put that on since the rusted shackles took so long. I will put some pics up, but they will be with my ****ty camera phone.

Yeah, an impact is nice, but the nuts weren't the hard part, it was getting the bolt out of the bushing. Maybe a torch would help.

You have pics of the roof rack lights?

i wish i had a dig. camera......and my cell phone doesnt have a camera phone...but the lights are pretty sweet(square) i have 2 on there about 6 inches apart from eacother and then 11 inches from the ends of the cross bar. They are the 25$ squares at auto zone with the rock guards on them.

Now I just need someone to help me install the 3" body lift and I will be good to go. Know anywhere to get some nice 33s for cheap? Or if I can tell how the backspacing is on my 18s? It would be cool to get 33s on the 18s.

Im on Vacation, visiting friends swimming and gettin in trouble. Im in Amman, Jordan right now...nice city, crazy taxi drivers though. I'll be back on the 15th, and then the 15th and 16th im going to be working non stop getting the mountaineer ready for badlands. The 17 and 18th im going to badlands. 19th im registering for summer classes, and the 20th im going to start my BW 4406 t-case swap. Busy Busy. After the 23rd or so i should be good.

Awesome, sounds like a good time. I would love to go to the badlands to try out my Explorer since it will probably be the only run close to me. That being said I doubt i'm going to be able to get my shocks, AAL and bodylift on before then. Plus with some changes at my work in personel I probably wouldn't be able to get the time off anyways.Who knows though miracles do happen sometimes. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.

I think there is some trails that stockers can run. I took the mount there when i was stock and it did really good. I went over an obstacle that jeep on 33's couldnt do...and i was on the stock 29" tires. Go the badlands chat thread and ask if there is a stocker group. It would be great if you could make it. We could install your shackles and do a torsion twist while we are in the staging area.
