instrument cluster
anddd the wiper motor against the firewall prolly wouldnt hurt either
thats what i would try and get anyway

the little plastic pop-rivets that hold on door panels and almost everything else...ford seems to be obsessed with them and i seem to be obsessed with breaking them

I just went to a salvage yard and there were about 5-7 ex's on the lot. One of them had FX4 decals on the sides. It also had warrior shackles and RS9000 shocks on all 4 corners. I am going back to get the rear disc brake parts to convert mine to rear discs.

But I am curious about the rear diff because it had a custom drain plug made into it, and was painted red. It may already have gears or a locker in it.

Sucks I did not bring enough tools to mess with removing a rear end.

But I did get a perfect radio bezel for $1.99 so now I will have Ford buttons for all my fog lights.
And a rear door handle for 1.99. They told me the complete front axle would be $28.99 and that includes the CV's.

Chad, get that FX4 rear diff, it should be a Zexel Torsen, $500+ new now.

I did not know they made an FX4 Explorer. I thought it was just sticker the owner put on it. What is a Zexel Torsen diff anyways? I thought they were all 8.8's.

This lot also had 5-6 Rangers some were EDGE rangers.

Ah shoot, I thought you meant a Ranger that you saw the sticker on. The Torsen is a clutchless diff. that can last forever in normal street use.
