I've been a lurker and user of the knowledge base on here for awhile. And given recent developments in a forum I used to frequent I think I'm going to make this my new home. First order of business is I need help deciding which rims to stick on my red/maroon 2000 Mountaineer 2WD.

Pretty old picture but it still looks the same. I'll be taking the mudflaps off and lowering a tiny bit soon. So here's the 3 I'm torn between. Keep in mind I'm going for some sort of street truck look
AFS Mach 1 18x9

16x8 Jeep wheels. Think the company is called mamba?

Konig Zero 18x9

The first two I've seen on 2nd Gens and Konig says the zeros will fit on a 2nd. I'm just trying to get yall's feed back and see if you guys know if it will fit on a 2WD front hub. The few pairs I had my heart set on wouldn't fit on the front hub without spacers. That front grease cap and hub is sooo damn big and long!!

I say the Mach 1 or the Konig... I think that the black with the red stripe around the rim on the Konig would look real sweet! and I think the Jeep wheel will give it less of the street style you are going for.

Yeah, I've been really feeling the Konig, Discount tire is where I was planning on buying my new tires and the only Konig distributor close to me anyways.

I think the Konig is more for FWD/AWD vehicles with high offsets. Even though Konig shows it will fit, what offset is the wheel?

I think it's around 35MM if I'm not mistaken

Pass on the Jeep wheels. I would say go with the Konigs because of the color match, but I prefer wheels with bigger spokes. Not so sure I like the thin spokes on the Konigs, so I think I'm gonna vote #1.

35MM is a pretty high offset to fit on an Explorer.

The Konigs are discontinued, if you did not know that...
