I need help lowering my explorer!
I haven't started yet, but I am trying to set up a plan for the next two years so that I can make this truck into a street cruiser.
It has been named the surfmobile by my friends because of my custom paint job... By "custom" I mean I did it myself... in my driveway... with spray paint...!
Don't judge me! I was bored... Anyways, with this truck currently in the auto shop getting the entire suspension and control system worked on I am planning out my next project to REALLY customize this truck. I don't want it on the ground and I flipped a truck at 35 MPH once because of an air ride suspension system... so I'm trying to avoid that too... I wanna lower it, get bigger rims, smaller tires, new paint, cut off the roof, add a roll bar, rhino liner the bed section behind the seats, killer audio system...
Basically I wanna do this...
I have looked all over this site but I can't find what I need in a descriptive organized way...
please reply with your ideas and tips (Preferably with pics and how to's)
