G'day and welcome:)

my 02 explorer is behaving weird few weeks auto lights wont go out and less i physical turned it off the also for the radio, also remote wont unlock or lock the car if i disconnected battery for a while it reset for a while.

i took it to the dealer for a diagnosis and they said no codes found unable to talk to csm
checked function another out in put now they are thinking that if module is bad.

i also have the transmission flush and now a light flashing (check transmission) and o/d off.
any idea what going on?

For the electrical problems check for broken wires in the door boot (do a search on that if you need more info) and for your transmission, after the flush it may not have been topped up with enough fluid. I'd get that sorted ASAP. Again try a search for more info 'cause thats all I've got mate, good luck.

Welcome aboard! :salute:

I had similar electrical issues with my 02 xlt. The dome lights would stay on until the battery saver feature turned them off, the driver side puddle light didn't work, the keypad on the door would set off the alarm when I pressed it, the door ajar light would flash and beep at highway speeds, the radio would shut off as soon as I turned the key off, etc.

A lot of electrical issues can be traced back to broken/damaged wire(s) in the boot between the body and the driver's door. I found a broken wire and repaired it and all is back to normal!

Here is the thread for removing the door panel: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums//showthread.php?t=303524

Here is a great thread for checking for broken/damaged wires, thanks to synyster for this awesome write-up: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums//showthread.php?t=270081

Hope this helps out! :biggthump
