Hi! Had a problem on my 99' Ranger (V6 4.0 OHV) and burned both cylinder heads.
I live outside the States, and imported parts are extremely expensive here...
So started looking for the parts to import them by myself (that is 50% cheaper
) and found many shops that sell fully repaired ones.
Quotes go from $250 up to $600 (core is not included). The most expensive, is from a Ford dealer who claims that are "Motorcraft guaranteed repaired" (sounds strange... doesn't it?
).
Since sometimes "cheaper gets more expensive in the long run", perhaps you can tell me a middle-price good-quality shop.
Here, are some of the ones I've requested quote from:
Also, it might be helpful any information (good or bad) from the ones on the list.
Please, help me... I miss my truck...
Thanks in advance!
