What tire size?

33's

I think 410's are good for 33's. If you go lower you have more power but loose gas mileage. If you're on road more often then 410's are your best bet.

I know this is a little late, but absolutely get 4.56 gears.
I had 4.88 gears in my sport trac with 33's and it was awesome, although a little bit low for freeway use. It still got around comfortable at 70mph but the RPM's were a little high.

My sport trac came stock with 4.10's, and when I put 33's on the performance was marginal, and it had to work harder off road. I used the truck for months (almost a year) with 33's and 4.10 gears. It is acceptable, but if I would have spent a bunch of money and ended up with that result I would have been hugely disappointed. I definitely 100% feel that 4.56 gears are the perfect all around gears for 33's.

when i had 33s on my truck i really hated my 4.10s
it did not like highway on-ramp acceleration
and the rpms that it sits at around 65-70 is a horrible low 2k that feels like it wants to slow itself down
if i go back to 33s i am definitely gonna get 4.56s

+1 for 4.56s. That is what I have with 33X10.50s and love it.
