Now my 1997 Explorer won't go any direction. I Also have to place blocks behind my tires to keep it from rolling down my slight inclined driveway. What could be wrong with it? I'm in desparate need of my vehicle to be on the road now. Just started new job and being evicted from my home next month! I'm a single parent with little extra money and fewer people to rely on for transportation.:(

Please give the vehicle specs. Is it four wheel drive. Automatic? V8?

Transfer case. Try putting it in 4low. Make certain to follow the shift procedure for low range. See if it will move then post up.

It is currently at my cousin's repair shop. I'm hoping for an inexpensive fix for it. Or it might get sold at low price or even scrapped. I'll post when I know what's wrong. Thank you very much for your ideas! :-)
