You're going to need to have the trouble codes read, then post them up here to see what's up...

Welcome to this forum! A transmission shop could read the codes for you. Auto parts stores such as Autozone have a scanner for reading basic codes. You need a scanner which is capable of reading manufacturer specific transmission & body codes.

thanks

thanks joedirt and broklynbay i will try to get that done does autozone charge for the reading of the codes?

No, just don't let them sell you anything until you get the codes up and we can check them out... :)

fixed it

joedirt had a suggestion of diconecting neg battery cable to reset the computer well it has worked no longer flashing someone on here said they did that and had no probletms since and everything works well thanks for the suggestion if this dosent work in long term then ill get the codes

Yep- if it's a normal fault, it usually takes a certain number of occurrences to trigger the light. Sometimes it takes a while, sometimes it's immediate. Fingers crossed! :)
