Hello; The short question, I purchased a powerdyne setup complete except for the alternator bracket. I need help locating one! Anyone have one to sell? Or can give me a clue where to look. This is for a 1997 5.0 gt40p setup. Im dead without this bracket, It is a weird design of the alt setup I would like to find the right and not a made up bracket due to enlignment of serp. belt under load. Oh man it has been a long long time since I installed a Powerdyne into a 5.0 Explorer but I will give it a shot. IIRC the alternator mounts on the lower passenger side of the engine with the PD kit. I do not recall exactly how the mount looked like but if you post some good picture of your engine and the alternator I should be able to help you design a mount for it. Other than going the custom route it may take you a while to actually find one from a kit that someone else has.

Please forgive my lack of knowledge whats a IIRC ans a PD kit?

If you give me your email I'll send you pics. My setup is totally stock 1997 5.0 gt40p setup. Will you be able to design a bracket? aprox. $. I have bought and sold 2 other chargers for this engine. I finally found the correct setup and the alternator bracket was missing. I have both installation manuals for the chargers that have this bracket (Both manuals are on line)
1. can be found on the powerdyne site still has manuals
2. The other is Ford racing carried the Powerdyne on there sits has the manual as well.
Both Powerdyne setups had different Alt setups, for the same location.
Now both has beed discontinued several years ago and no part #'s and no extra mounts. I almost had the original blueprints for this from the original designer. I hope that I dont have to give this up and sell this 3 charger.
