HELP REMOVING FRONT SPINDLE'S

Is there no other disassembly in taking the spindle off other than removing those 5 screws behind the rotor?

sorry for opening up an old thread

That is all, but the spindles can get quite well fixed into place.

Usually, I spin on a nut (so I don't mess up the threads) and give the spindle a rap with a mallet. In a few really troublesome cases, I've had to use a slide-hammer puller with a special spindle socket to get them off.

That and you need to remove the ABS protector if you have one.

Yah what he said...the sensor can get rusted in that little cup inset thing on the spindle. Be careful though of the sensor, my buddy and broke the heck out of his and bent the crap outta the sensor protector sleeve trying to get it out. His was rusted in, and if I remembenr correctly, the ABS sensor was like 100 bucks including the wires and stuff...not cheap!!

I just paid $28 for the sensor and harness at O'Reilly.
