Okay, i got kind a question that i am not too sure about, so i want to ask before i spend the money.

A lot of people here run the whole 3"BL, TT, and shackles, i see, which is what im going to run. Some people say they can fit 33's while others say 32's are the largest that will fit. Is there anyone that can verify this somehow?

i was originally just going to get a 15" rim with 32x11.5's, but i came across a toyo wheel thats 33x12.5x18, which leaves room for the 18" rim! I would love this setup, but dont want the tire to look too crowded.

will the 18" rim cause crucial change? i would run a 18x8.5 rim with the 33x12.5x18 toyo's. Anyone know if this setup will rub a lot or a little? I dont like the look of a too crowded tire against cars, and i dont really want to trim too much (a little trim would be okay). any help with this would be great. I havent seen an explorer on here with the lift and 18" rims so i wanted to give it a whirl.

If you are going for looks you could go with the 18" set up. If you are going to be off roading stick with the 15" set up.
You want more side wall when you off road so when you air down you have more flex and contact area.

The wheel diameter will not effect the tire diameter.

Those 18"s will probably be double the price if not more thaan the 15"s as well.

As far as will the 33" tire fit w/o trimming it's a 50/50 chance. I have 31x10.5x15 no lift & don't rub. Others have had to do a TT to get enough clearance.

i'd just go with the 33" tire... with 4"-5" of lift there should be little if not no trimming at all. so even if u have to trim it won't be a big deal...

do 33's fit on the stock teardrop wheels.

33's with fit on the stock wheels, but he tires will rub the frame at full lock, I had to do minimal trimming to get mine to work. I mean minimal. A couple ppl didnt even notice after inspecting the fender.
