You'd be looking at about 1.1", a little it less than mine. The 35mm offset is very close to your stock offset, 44mm, so most of that 1.1" comes from the fact that you're looking at a 9" rim, compared to your stock 7.5". What size tire were you thinking on dressing those wheels with? I wouldn't go wider that a 255 (maybe a 265), or you may get into issues on the inside.

You bet! Just trying to give back whatever I can, this forum has been a great source of help for me.

BTW, check this guy out when you're ready to buy: MrWheelDeal.com. If he has the brand you want, prices and service are top notch.

Divemaster, have u dealt with mrwheel directly? Any idea if he matches tire prices as well? Never heard of him before, usually deal with tirerack or discount tire. Thanks

Thanks Divemaster191307 that is what I was worried about with this option, rubbing on the inside. I also don't know if they stick out far enough for me? I am still keeping my options open, as you can see did not take the leap yet on which size or style wheel I am going with!

Thanks again!

I dealt directly with him on my baby's new shoes (See this thread). I don't know his "price matching" policy or whether he will sell tires without wheels, but he quoted me $549 for 4 x Firestone Destination A/T 265-70R17. Shipping was $148 for wheels + tires, or $69 without the tires, so I would guess that would be $79 for the tires. That was a few $ more than TireRack, but TireRack would not sell me wheels that were not on their "compatibility" list for my Explorer anyway. All I can say is try him: he's very quick responding to email...

Thanks for the info Dive. In order to get around Tire Rack policy, you can choose to not give your vehicle info when placing order. Ever since the Firestone thing, they do not want any liablility. When I bought my 33's from Discount, I had them mounted to the wheels and put them on my self. Glad to hear there is another wheel dealer out there as well.

You're right about that! The sales guy was quite **** and stubborn about it... I can oversize the tires to my heart's content on their site, but you can't get wheel specs without putting in a Vehicle's make, model and year. "because we guarantee fitment" seems to be the corporate line and I couldn't get him to budge... Oh well, their loss, I went with someone, and I'm happy with the service.
