well i understand that it is proper to buy the drop brackets for the front of my 91 to set your camber right but i am trying not to do that for budget reasons. i was woundering if anyone has pics of any type of extension i can weld onto the stock brackets to make them longer? i want to leave everything as stock as i can so i can always go back if needed. i know there is alot of pics out there of people making whole new brackets but i just want to weld some strong extensions on what i have now. any ideas?

if you weld extensions on you wont be able to go back to stock without cutting the extensions off. and ya you deffidently could weld extensions on.... but a rough country lift is cheap(like450$) and all it is is extensions that bolt on instead of weld on so thats prob the best way to go.... even if you do weld on new extensions you'll need taller springs or you wont have any lift.

i already have longer srings on it now and the camber is out so i just need to use the stock bolt holes and drill some above them bolt and weld the extensions on so i have the stock bolt holes and extra durability. then just add some gussets to the stock brackets to make them stronger. i just didnt know if anyone had any picks of someting like that they have done.

Well, that sounds spooky. How much longer are the springs? How bad is your camber/caster? Even more important, what does your steering linkage look like?

(Photos are a good way to answer these questions.)
