Help with fly wheel

I hope someone can help me out. I am replacing the motor in my 1991 explorer. The motor i got from the junk yard had a clutch and manual fly wheel. Mine is a automatic. There seems to be a spacer that i my need to pull off the old crank? The automatic fly wheel hits the block. please dont tell me the junk yard gave me the wrong year! LOL Any help would be great! thanks! 4.0L

the spacer should be on your motor behind the automatic fly wheel.

Are you sure the flywheels are interchangeable between autos and manuals?
