Making the change for 4.88 gears and have a couple questions (surely foolish ones
). Is there a difference between "Motive" "motive performance" "platinum performance" "platinum torque" "Richmond" or "spicer" gears other than a buck or two price change? The site I found and am thinking of ordering from is "accu auto".
Looks like $150-$185 for rear, and $147-$158 for the front. Reasonable enough prices?
Also what limited slips are being used with success in the front ends? Going either spool or aussie in the back.
I am running 35" after a 4" trailmaster, SOA, and probably an excessive torsion twist.
I have a clunking in the front end that I think may be the cv's towards maxed out angles, but I'm not sure with my digging around so far.
