Help with gears

I have 3:27 open diffs, with a/b 5 inch lift.
im getting ready to switch to 32 inch all terrians.

now i know that 3:27 is not good for the 32s AT ALL.

i plan on getting new gears eventually, but i cant do it right now, because i may end up getting rid of the explorer and putting everythig on my sister navajo, so my dad wants me to hold off on the gears. I have a new tranny, and just installed a fan in front of the cooler...

how long do you think i can run 32s and 3:27s?


i know accel, milage etc will be bad, but i just want to get opinions..

It wont Kill you to Run 3.27s with 32s I have done it for about 4 months now. Yes it is Poor, but I would not go with 33s and 3.27s.

I've had 3.27 and 32" tires for a little over a year now. It does pretty good on hills and the acceleration is okay but then you'll get sick of your crappy gas mileage. I'll be switching to 4.56 soon, already ordered the gears from 4wheelparts.com. I'm doing the gears first before I get my lift, can't afford both right now.

If you have an automatic it is not bad. But if it is a manual then you will hate it. Mine is a manual with 3.55's and stock size tires and I HATE it. I will have 4.10s within the next few months so I just have to tough it out.

alright thanks dameon and kris... im not worried about milage, because im sure it will be bad, but what kind do yall get with this combo?

and will it go into overdrive on the highway still?
