Where do I start? I just this bought Explorer as a 2nd car I currently own a 90 Mustang GT convert and have done a few mods to it.

Need a list of suppliers for the following if any.

Underdrive pulleys
Cold Air Induction
Exhaust

Any stock mods that improve performance?

Thanks in advance.

Making mods to improve your truck is always fun,; good luck.

As far as exhaust hoes, I would recommend having your local exhaust shop custom make a cat back for you.

Take a look at the KKM air filter and adapter ( http://www.kustomz.com/.

Also take a look at some HP spark plug wires.

Good luck.......

Also,,,,, give some consideration to changing all fluids to synthetic.

i agree with aldive on everything he mentioned, but id also recommend a superchip or hypertech chip. i have a superchip, myself. www.smartyparts.com has them and you can also check em out at www.superchips.com

good luck

well how much do you want to spend. tell me that and ill tell you what i think

Want to start off with about $500

for $500 i would get the kkm and an exhuast system. im a fan of lowmaster personally. and with the extra hundred or so you have i would save and put toward some more advanced mods (headers, ignition amps etc...)

im with mikeresin, for $500, definately the kkm and exhaust, but i would recommend a custom system - what type of muffler is totally up to you. keep in mind that exhaust is a very personal thing. some people think one thing is loud when someone else thinks it not loud enough - i went thtough 3 exhaust systems before i decided that all of em were too loud, and now im back to a stock setup, but when i did have my exhaust systems on my truck, i saw great MPG improvements, but i was getting too many headaches. and one more thing about exhaust, dont waste your money on mandrel bent pipes - its an explorer, not a high performance vehicle, mandrel bends are not going to make a significant difference.

good luck :)

With the KKM wouldnt i have to end up getting a intake from a 95 and up. I thought I read somewhere that they wouldnt fin in a '94.

Ya might wanna check out Dead Link Removed too. They have all the stuff you mentioned up top.

firs thing i would do is get a haynes or chiltons manual. then i would get catalogues from summit, and jcwhitney then check out as many mags as you can i personally prefer Off Road to peterson's but peterson's is good. also offroad wharehouse and http://www.bigmountain.net/

for $500 i agree i would get the flowmasater exhaust and the kkm. i got my flowmaster exhaust custom built for $250.

way to go on getting an x. you got buidl up fever already. are planning on using your truck for offroading or stricly street use?

lift it man lift it!
