Ok I feel really stupid asking this. I went to measure my stabilizer bar for bushings and I got 11cm. That works out to if I am not wrong 110mm and they don't come in that measurement. It is a 1998 ford explorer 4x4 4.0L OHV. Thanks for the help in advance. Anyone know what size it would be. Or best bushing's to use.

Ford used a number of different sized stabilizer bars. I just measured my bar tonite and it is 34 mm. I am going to purchased some blue moog ones tomorrow

I just went and measured and I think it is a 34 as well. How did you measure. I think iam going to go with the energy suspension people on here have had bad reviews.

The 95-01's are likely all 34mm up front. Go with the ES bushings, black if you can, they have graphite in them and the red do not. Swap your rear bar, that one is tiny. Get the EE bar, it's well known for greatly improving handling. I have two, and a 1.5" front bar on one truck. Regards,

Right on thanks what does the EE stand for. Do you know a good place to order thE energy suspension bushings from.

EE is the common name we use for Explorer Express, they have some nice and expensive suspension parts. Most parts stores carry ES bushings, they are the best. Regards,

If you measure a 34mm tube, around it's circumfrence, it will be ABOUT 11cm (34mm x 3.141592=10.6cm )

So that's where you got the 110 number from....

Yes, buy the Explorer Express bar if you can.....

Ryan

34mm is 3.4 cm thick, diameter, 11cm is the circumference.

My front bar is 1.5", or 38.1mm thick.

Well I went and got the end link kit and the stabilizer bar bushings for the front. All they had was moog so I will give those a try supposid life time warrenty. I will just try and not to over tighten. Hopefully this makes the clunk over the bumps go away.
