Help with tranny problem

Hey yall Sorry for not talking much but i have been in the field for the last 45 days! Anyway i got a call last night saying that my O/D light was flashing and the TQ converter was not locking. I am going to have my fiance take it to get codes pulled off of it tomorrow. Im thinking it is the sol. for the TQ converter but it needs to get fixed! Any ideas or suggestions? I will be home in october after i get done my training for iraq and i need to drive something. Talk to yall soon and thanks for the help.

T/C lock up

Do you have the 5r55e tainy? and iS it a 4.0l eng ? I think you are right, sol. not functioning. If this is the case, you should get a PO 7?? code. Have her take it to autozone to retrieve code. Also, on the 4r44/55e 5r44e/5r55e trainy there is a tsb calling for an upgrade to the main control valve body. Sol. can be replace in 2 hrs from the pan, add an extra 2 hrs to upgrade the main control valve body. After autozone check, let me know DTC and I will walk you through (unless you already know how).
