My turn signal lights work however the sound has stopped. My warning flashers work as well. There is no warning sounds at all such as headlights left on while key is off nor door ajar sounds, NOTHING.

Please have pity on the new guy while you read this because I can hear the eyeballs rolling now. How do I fix this ? The sound problem just started 3 weeks ago.

Thanks for your help.

Doesn't sound like an easy fix.

Service manual says:

  • Condition: All the chimes are inoperative
  • Possible Sources: Instrument cluster
  • Action: INSTALL a new instrument cluster.
REFER to Section 413-01.

Good news is, you can snag one on Ebay for about $50.00. Bad news is, it's quite a procedure:

For the giggles let try a few things! Have you tried disconnecting the battery waiting 10 minutes and then reconnecting it? Have you now or in the past had any other instrument panel issues? Do your interior lights stay on after the vehicle has started and all doors are closed?
