I just bought my 97 Ex, how can I tell if it had factory keyless entry???

LOL, thats what I thought, pretty simple.
Then I thought, it may have had a remote w/o a keypad.

No keypad, just wanted to know so I could go buy an alarm with keyless entry, if needed

An aftermarket alarm with keyless entry has nothing to do with factory keyless entry. You buy a alarm with keyless entry so you can wire it to your power locks to have keyless entry. The alarm remote would have mutiple buttons. Arm, Disarm, Locks..

Some even roll down windows and allow you to open the trunk if you have a power trunk release.
