Here are My pix of my lifted Explorer, yay yay!!!

Bones,
Im deffinetally looking into the body lift for after this winter. But i've been deterred from it lately because didn't you have to make special brackets for your bumpers? Also, I have the brush guard on the front- and i was told i would have to custom make brackets for that too......did you do any of this?

yes. the front brackets that comes with the kit fit, but they are a little awkward and i had to use a handdrill and some muscle to widen the holes in the frame very slightly, no big deal at all. the rear bumpers i am working on right now. i actually am asking a bunch of guys about it right now on this thread:

3" BL rear bumper brackets???

the rear bumpers are harder than i expected. i thought i could just make some brackets but you need to cut a little at the frame and maybe the bottom of the bumper too.

i have a full pushbar on the front of mine as well. im not exactly sure how yours attaches, but mine has two top brackets and two lower brackets. the upper brackets moved up with the bumper but the lower brackets are connected to the frame. right now i bought 4 pieces of really thin steel and used a handdrill to drill some holes and doubled them up on each side to raise where the pushbar meets the lower brackets attached to the frame. it is very ****ty. im planning on either making some nicer 1/8" thick brackets or i could cut the frame a little and mount the lower pushbar brackets above the frame as opposed to below the frame like they are now. the frame is just about 3" thick.

i dont think youll have a problem making your own brackets. find a 1/8" thick piece of metal about the size you need and rent a drill press from home depot or find a machine shop to bribe, and paint it. the hard parts sound like notching the frame. i just didnt worry about the bumpers before hand cuz i know i wanted the lift and it is very cool and i knew i could still drive without fixing it. worst comes to worse ill cough up a few more bucks and get a shop to do it.
